We’ve lived in Boise for two and half months. Time has flown by. It’s still hard for me to wrap my head around the idea of having a daughter. In some ways it seems as if she has been with us forever. There are so many things I like about living on the mainland: winter apparel (boots!), a four bedroom house that costs me just a little more than the studio I had in Hawaii, more options for travel, and being near family. But I will admit, last week I was feeling a little down. You see, today is my birthday and I’m very far away from the people I would normally celebrate with.
