Arriving at Gardens by the Bay felt like entering a futuristic world. It could have easily been a set of the next Hunger Games. Tall tree-like structures covered by greenery soared into the skies. A thin path 22 meters high connected two of the towers. For just S$5 (about $3.56) you can stroll along the path with your head in the clouds. If you don’t want to pay, wandering amongst the foliage is free. We made our way to the meadow where we stumbled upon a seven ton statue of a baby by Marc Quinn. What amazed me about this white painted bronze was the entire statue is balanced solely on the baby’s arm.
At night the Supertrees transform into a dazzling Garden Rhapsody with lights and music. We’ll be checking that out this weekend!
